Your Eyes Will Become Sensitive to Bright Light

Photophobia is yet another one of the side-effects directly caused by ETS surgery that surgeons conveniently forget to tell you about. Photophobia is simply eye discomfort in bright light. This means that your eyes will now be a lot more sensitive to light which can range between mild discomfort to causing moderate pain in some people.
This will be one of the first things you will notice when you leave the hospital after ETS surgery, and this is because your pupils are no longer dilating and constricting as they should.
Now this is certainly not a life threatening condition, but you will need to invest in a pair of good quality sunglasses because you will find yourself wearing them a lot more often from now on.
