Because They Get Paid A Fortune For Every ETS Procedure They Carry Out

I remember visiting my surgeon for the first time and was so relieved to meet somebody who knew exactly what I was going through. None of my family or friends had sweaty hands and to put it simply, they just didn't understand what I was going through. But strangely enough, my surgeon knew in intimate detail the living hell I go through on a daily basis. It was like he was able to read my mind, and I remember thinking that I had finally found the answer to all my prayers.

However, it is extremely important you know that ETS surgeons are wearing their sales hat during your initial consultation and their underlying objective is to get you to have surgery. That's how they generate their income. They know all the standard questions you are likely to ask, they know how to overcome any objections you may have, and have refined their sales script over the years to convince you that surgery is the best option.

What they really should be doing is a comprehensive check on what medications and remedies you have already tried and discussing the results of these with you. They should then be sending you away to exhaust the remaining non-invasive treatments or medications you have not yet tried.  Patients never arrive to discuss surgery having already exhausted every other possible avenue of treatment. In fact, most patients usually haven't yet tried anything else so to be offered surgery as the only option or the first available line of treatment should be a criminal offense.

But how much money do you think surgeons make when they don't do surgery? Zero!  It's that simple.
