Your Surgeon Doesn't Even Test You Afterwards

You would think that after your surgery was over, your surgeon would carry out tests to confirm that the procedure was a complete success right? And that would include testing to confirm that he had not only cured the original problem you were undergoing surgery for, but most importantly, to check for any damage or other impairments caused as a direct result of cutting your sympathetic nerve. Right?

One would think this would be really important because if you do have any impairments, you're going to need to know how to manage them because, after all, these are going to be with you for the rest of your life. But do you want to know what tests are actually carried out afterwards?

None! Nada! Zilch!

I hate to break it to you, but there is absolutely no testing carried out to check for any new health issues you may face moving forward, even for your own piece of mind. Over the coming weeks and months, you will begin to notice impairments and other health issues on your own, but it is now up to you to investigate them in your own time with your own GP. Don't you think this info would have been handy to find out sooner? By someone who has at least got more knowledge on the subject than anybody else?

There is a reason they don't tell you this and that is because they know they then run the risk of being sued.
